Delete Your Account
You can request that your portal account and the personal data associated with it be deleted at any time. There are two ways to do this.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app
- Open the New Life Pentecostal Church app and sign in.
- Tap More in the bottom tab bar.
- Scroll to the Danger zone section.
- Tap Delete My Account and confirm.
The same flow is available in the web portal under My Account.
Option 2 — Email us
If you no longer have access to the app, send a deletion request to greg@nlpc.net. Include the name, email, and phone number you used to register so we can verify and locate your account.

What gets deleted
- Your portal login (username, password hash, mobile/web sessions).
- Your profile (name, email, phone, address, photo, birthdate).
- Your prayer requests, community feed posts, comments, and reactions.
- Your group memberships and ministry assignments.
- Your push-notification tokens and notification preferences.
What is retained
We may retain a limited set of records when we are legally required to do so:
- Donation history — anonymized and kept for the period required by IRS recordkeeping rules so that prior contribution statements remain accurate.
- Anti-abuse / audit logs — minimal records (timestamps and hashed identifiers) kept up to 12 months to detect fraud and respond to security incidents.
Retained records do not contain your name, contact details, or any information that personally identifies you.
How long it takes
In-app deletions take effect immediately. Email requests are processed within 7 business days; you will receive a confirmation message once the deletion is complete.
